Livin' in a nightmare

Hey all. Yes, I am alive. I just took a sort of haitus from LJ. Not this week, but the week after, I have an appointment in Philly to schedule my week-long hospital stay, during which they'll perform the spinal-tap. I've been having nightmares about it. Steve says that it won't hurt, but someone that actually had it done described it as 'something akin to human torture', and even with the Novacaine shot, she had to be restrained. That's basically what my nightmare has been about. I'm lying on the hospital bed, the wires in my hair from the electrodes attatched to my scalp. I'm being restrained by several people while they perform the spinal-tap and it hurts. And I wake up to find myself in a cold sweat, my muscles locked, tense, spasming and in pain.

So no, I'm not in a good mood right now.

In all honesty, I just kind of want to hide in my room and cry.

And I feel aggravated that I'm still being pressured by my family to have sex with a guy to 'be sure'. Fuck them. I am sure. It's them that aren't. I swear to God, I'm going to smash my head into the wall.

I feel scared, hurt, rejected, terrified, angry, depressed and anxious.

My stomach hurts now. I'm going to bed.

1) I absolutely LOVE writing, but always have a severe case of writer's block.

2) I like to make up soundtracks for games. When I play 'Silent Hill 4', I always play something by Korn and Marilyn Manson. With Final Fantasy, it's rock and soft-rock. With Lord of the Rings, it's instrumental and orchestral music. I don't know why I do this.

3) I can drink two pots of coffee and still manage to sleep at night.

Well, now I know why my back has been bothering me. I have another kidney infection! Isn't that glorious? The doctor is a completely incompetent fool, though. I had a systescope a few years back because of scar-tissue and nephritis. Did he check to see if I had it again? Nope. And the medication he put me on is something I might be 'sensative' to, but does that matter? Nope! He asked if I felt well enough to go to school tomorrow and my dad pretty much answered 'yes' for me. Does he know what an infected kidney feels like? Nope. I wanted to tear the hair right out of my head.

Steve: I've never felt so comfortable saying 'I love you' to someone that I didn't grow up with. But in my own way, I did grow up with you. You say that I'm strong and that I never give up. But what you don't seem to understand is that you give me strength. And staying at the hospital with you was no problem. Like I said before, I'm used to them. I don't like them very much, but you're worth it. You're beautiful and intelligent and witty and funny and strong and I love you very, very much. I'm very thankful that I know you. And you're there for me when you don't even realize it. You're an inspiration. I will always be here for you. And you never make me feel anything but loved. I love you.

I love you. It's nice to say that and mean it whole heartedly. You bring tears to my eyes too, darlin'. But they're good ones, don't worry. I loveth Jenn. She introduced me to fanfiction and anime, both of which I'm still extremely obsessed with. She's the only one of my friends that I could have intellectual conversations with when I was younger. And oddly enough, only she and Heidi were the friends that ever played tag with me in the library or locked me in a bathroom with the lights turned off. I found it's hard to go pee when they did that, lol.

And she's really smart and college-bound. I feel jealous. *jealousy* AND, my dear people, she's going to a religious college. I never thought I'd see the day. But I did. So now I look forward to seeing the day she graduates and defends me in court for something like indecent exposure. Or raping a mailbox. It'll be something stupid, I know that much. o.O
